Psalm 119:1-8
1 How blessed are those whose way is blameless, Who walk in the law of the Lord. 2 How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, Who seek Him with all their heart.
3 They also do no unrighteousness; They walk in His ways.
4 You have ordained Your precepts, That we should keep them diligently.
5 Oh that my ways may be established To keep Your statutes!
6 Then I shall not be ashamed When I look upon all Your commandments.
7 I shall give thanks to You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments.
8 I shall keep Your statutes; Do not forsake me utterly!
Prayers:
Vs.1 – Oh Lord give me grace to live my life blameless and undefiled, let every filthy way be abolished by your mercy.
Vs. 2 – Let me hide your word in my heart, let me keep your word that I may not sin against you. Help me to express my love for you by keeping and obeying your word. That I may consistently seek and long for you with all my heart.
Vs. 3 – Help me Lord not to deliberately do the wrong thing
Vs. 4 – Oh that I follow your rules with careful diligence.
Vs. 5 – Let my ways may be established as I obediently accept and honor your word.
Vs. 6 – Let me not be ashamed as I look with respect to all your instructions as my guide.
Vs. 7 – I will give you with all my heart as you teach me discipline and righteousness all the way.
Vs. 8 – I will keep your statutes, do not completely neglect me when I fail.
All these I pray in the name of Jesus.
